Friends Granted 501c3 Tax Exemption

After many years of waiting, Friends of Fort Harrod, Inc. has been awarded 501(c)(3) tax exempt status by the IRS! We are now recognized as a non-profit public charity.

This is great news which will contribute greatly to the success of our fundraisers. It also means that Friends does not have to file tax returns anymore, or pay taxes, and all donations are fully tax deductible to the donor.
