This will be the 8th Annual Early Kentucky Market Fair by Friends of Fort Harrod. Tommy Barnett is the event organizer. Some of the most highly acclaimed 18th Century craftsmen and craftswomen will be on hand displaying and selling their work.
This is a full scale 18th Century Market Fair in the Lions Park Community Center at 450 East Factory Street in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Re-enactors can find nearly everything they need. You can find historical clothing, gifts, housewares, fabrics, leather goods, powder horns, hunting pouches, knives, sheaths, blacksmith iron work, black powder guns of all types and many other accouterments.
Several members of Friends will be at the Trade Fair. We will have 35 tables this year. A list of vendors will be posted when available.
There will be a silent auction of items donated by the vendors, a Door Prize and "Fundraiser Ticket Drawing".
Friends of Fort Harrod will also be selling raffle tickets for the Wayne Estes Rifle Raffle during the Trade Fair. The Prize Package will be on display!
